You will be graded on the signed off community service hours, and the completion of four entries. The address for Mr. Howard’s blog is http://howardela.blogspot.com/, here you can register and post a comment. Your comment/s will not appear until I have approved the comment/s. So following your post I will receive an approval email, following that email your post will appear. This option will include four posts that should be at least one paragraph long each. Finally you should include a brief video explaining your community service from the location where you are volunteering (please make this digital). Keys to success….. 2. So the last week of spring break I spent 2 hours at the Havelock Recreation Center, I spent an hour raking both of the softball fields, I went around and pulled the weeds, and picked up rocks that were on the field. I also chalked the field's for upcoming softball games.
The softball fields normally don't look as good as they did after i was done. But they actually looked playable.

  3. The same day I cleaned up the fields at the Havelock Recreation center I cleaned all four dugouts.
I used a leaf blower to clean out all the sand, sunflower seeds, trash, dirt, etc. That all took me around an hour for all four dugouts, when I was done they looked great.

  4. The Saturday before we got off of spring break I went to the nursing home here in Havelock called Cherry Point Bay.
I spent 4 hours there, I spent 30 minutes at a memorial for one of the seniors that lived there.
Then I spent another 30 minutes when I took this nice senior outside to have fresh air, Sharon the activity director said if the seniors don't get visitor they never really go outside, so I felt special.
I spent 3 hours planing activity's for the seniors, and making a box for this food drive the nursing home was holding, it was a fun experience to help out there.
I would actually love to go back and volunteer again.
